Accessibility Statement

Accessibility statement of this website in accordance with §12b BGG

The Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS is committed to making the website www.testfeld-berlin.de accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.testfeld-berlin.de.

This statement is issued in accordance with §12b of the Disability Equality Act (BGG) in conjunction with the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

Status of Compliance with Requirements

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of BITV 2.0 in conjunction with EN 301 549 V3.2.1.

The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reasons:

Non-Accessible Content

The following areas are currently not fully accessible:

  • Missing Main Landmark: The pages do not have a <main> landmark element. Screen reader users cannot navigate directly to the main content.
  • Heading Hierarchy: On the homepage, heading levels are skipped (e.g., from <h1> directly to <h3>), which affects the semantic structure for assistive technologies.
  • Mobile Navigation: The navigation toggle in the mobile view does not have an accessible name (aria-label), so screen reader users cannot recognize its function.

These limitations are being addressed gradually.

Creation of this Statement

This statement was created on April 2, 2026.

The assessment is based on a self-evaluation through an automated review (Lighthouse Accessibility Audit). The results showed an overall score of 94–98 points (out of 100) depending on the page type and device.
